About Us
The mission of the South Jersey Youth Arts Association is to transform lives by providing scholarship opportunities and advocating for local programs that offer further education in the arts. We strive to inspire change while creating a safe, inclusive and equitable space for young artists to cultivate their craft and uplift the community while doing so.
Our Story
We are a diverse and inclusive community-based non-profit organization that was founded with the sole purpose of advocating for the arts and furthering educational opportunities for young performers. We strive to cultivate community partnerships with local theaters, dance studios, educational institutions, voice instructors and more! Our goal is to create a central hub where young performers can go to find all of the wonderful arts programming that their community has to offer. We will help offer scholarships, auditions tips, and beneficial industry information that will help them excel in the arts!
Throughout the year, our SJYA will work alongside members of the arts community to share educational information offered by local arts organizations. Once a year we host our Rising Stars Gala which celebrates some of the amazing programming our community has to offer while raising awareness of the impact that the arts have on our communities. This exciting black-tie event is sure to be a night to remember featuring performances from talented young artists, local dance studios, theatre companies, and more! Contact us if you'd like to have your program, theater, dance studio, or youth group perform! Follow us on socials to stay up to date!
